Join the PTA

When someone joins a PTA, a portion of their membership dues stays with the local unit to support local school programs and events. The remaining amount, called per capita dues, is forwarded to your council (if applicable), then your district, then California State PTA, and finally, National PTA. These other levels of PTA support local units by providing leadership training, organizational assistance, advocacy, and other valuable resources.

PTA’s strength is its membership, when PTA members speak on behalf of all children and their families; they are heard by the teachers, by the principal, and by the school board.

PTA offers a wide array of resources, programs and information to help all the children in Torrey Hills.

PTA organizes fun community events like the Ice Cream Social and Movie Nights to bring everyone together for some family fun.

PTA sponsors educational events and assemblies like Red Ribbon Week and the Great Kindness Challenge.

All funds raised by PTA membership dues and fundraisers are used to provide resources, events and programs for our students.
